Possessions is a French-Hebrew language thriller series premiering on HBO Max today, Jan. 28.
Everything is beautiful on the night of Natalie’s wedding. She’s a young French expatriate in Israel celebrating her special day with her new husband and family. They’re about to cut the cake and embark on their new life together. All is well. Until the lights go out.
When they come back on, her husband lies bleeding to death on the floor, and her once white wedding dress runs red with blood from the cake knife she’s holding. But she says she has no memory of what happened, and asserts that she absolutely did not kill her husband.
Karim, a French diplomat in charge of helping French citizens who have to deal with the Israeli authorities, will attempt to help Natalie clear her name as he slowly falls for her. Is Natalie as lost and vulnerable as she looks? Or is she a manipulative cold-blooded killer? Karim will dive into Natalie and her family’s mysterious past to find out.
