BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) -Happy first Hump Day of 2021, everyone! Today’s weather is going to be a whole lot like Tuesday’s - lots of clouds around with the occasional snow shower. But those snow showers won’t amount to much . . . just a dusting to around an inch by the end of the day.
Starting on Thursday, we will start to get in on a little more sunshine, as the storm system that has been stalled to our east over the Atlantic finally breaks loose and drifts farther into the ocean. Those partly sunny skies will stick around through the weekend and into the start of next week.
Winds won’t be very strong, but they will be pretty persistent out of the north through the weekend, and that will slowly bring down some colder air from Canada, although nothing out of the ordinary for early January.
We are keeping an eye on a possible system that might bring us some snow by the middle of next week.
