There was a cause for concern for the Dodgers in Friday night’s win over the Anaheim Angels. A few, actually. But when Max Muncy came out the game not long after noticeably wincing in pain during an at-bat, fans threat levels raised.
Max Muncy came out of the game two innings after feeling a sting on a check swing, but manager Dave Roberts said, "Max is fine."

Thankfully you can rest easy as Dave Roberts confirmed that a tweaked wrist for Max shouldn’t keep him out of further action.
Max is fine, it was just a check swing that kind of stung him a little bit. He could have stayed in the game but I think that for me, I’m trying to also manage workload as we close out this regular season.
Muncy collected two hits in the game — hit first multi-hit game since September 1st — and continued a somewhat warm stretch where has 4 hits in his last 13 at-bats (.308). He was replaced in the lineup by Gavin Lux in the seventh inning, with Enrique Hernandez sliding from second base to first base to end the game.
On the season, the Dodgers’ first baseman is batting .197 with 12 home runs and 27 runs batted in.
