CLEVELAND, Ohio – Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, Apple is in cost-cutting mode when it comes to its next iPhone. Yet, while the company may be trying to save money, don’t expect that to carry over to customers.
A new report by Forbes suggests the iPhone 12 will be the most expensive model yet. Delays could also mean the new model ships sometime in October.
Specifically, market research company TrendForce says the iPhone 12 will come in four models – the basic version, Plus, Pro and Pro Max – that will range in price from $749 to $1,199. That amounts to an increase of more than $100 from the iPhone 11 models, which Forbes attributes to 5G chips.
As always, unconfirmed hands-on videos are floating around the Internet. Make of them what you will.
