Disney+'s 'The Mandalorian' and 'Hamilton' and HBO Max's 'The Flight Attendant' all picked up nominations.

Disney+ and HBO Max can now say that they're home to Golden Globe-nominated programming.

The streamers each picked up nods when the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced nominations on Wednesday, Feb. 3.

Disney+, which launched in November 2019, earned five total nominations: The Mandalorian for television drama series, Lin-Manuel Miranda for actor in a motion picture musical or comedy for his performance in Hamilton, and Hamilton for best picture, musical or comedy.

Pixar's Soul, which was originally intended for a theatrical release but was moved to Disney+ for a Christmas Day debut as the pandemic continued to force the shuttering of theaters, also received two nominations for the streamer, one for best motion picture, animated, and one for Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Jon Batiste's original score for a motion picture.

The Mandalorian, which debuted on Nov. 12, 2019, returned for a second season in October last year. Hamilton became available on Disney+ over the summer, offering viewers an opportunity to see a filmed version of the hit Broadway show.

HBO Max picked up a pair of Golden Globes nominations, the service's first since launching in May 2020. The HFPA recognized original series The Flight Attendant, giving a nod to star Kaley Cuoco for actress in a TV series musical or comedy and a nomination for best TV series, musical or comedy.

The Flight Attendant premiered Nov. 26 on HBO Max and quickly became the streamer's No. 1 series. It was renewed for a second season in December.

Streamers have become a fixture at awards shows like The Golden Globes in recent years following the rise of Netflix and Amazon Studios. Netflix once again dominated the morning's announcement with 42 nominations.

The Golden Globes ceremony will take place Feb. 28, and will be hosted by a bicoastal Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The Golden Globe Awards ceremony is produced by Dick Clark Productions, a division of MRC, which is a co-owner of The Hollywood Reporter through a joint venture with Penske Media titled P-MRC.

Feb. 3, 7:15 a.m. Updated to include Pixar's Soul, which was moved to Disney+ after a planned theatrical release.
