Jon Stewart wrote, directed, and produced the movie Irresistible, which was released on-demand on June 26 right before the 2020 presidential election, but the politically-skewed film might not be for everyone. Former host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show has always been vocal about his political opinions and has recruited some big name actors and actresses for this popular title which perfectly intertwines politics, drama and comedy.
The feature comedy-drama stars Steve Carell as Gary, a political consultant for the national Democratic party, who gets sucked into local mayoral race in a small town in rural Wisconsin. Gary believes his candidate (Chris Cooper) has the potential to become the town’s first Democrat mayor in decades and usher a new wave of blue in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, Gary’s rival Faith (Rose Byrne) comes to town to help the incumbent Republican mayor campaign. Lots of money, polling, and political analysis gets involved, essentially becoming a national campaign for a tiny Wisconsin town. As the campaign becomes more involved, the film borders on political satire. Stewart fans wouldn’t expect anything else.

According to WarnerMedia’s pressroom site, the film was supposed to be available on HBO Max as of today, February 6th, however is Irresistible on HBO Max. Where can you watch Irresistible? Read on for all the info.

Unfortunately, HBO Max subscribers on the east coast are not yet seeing the title on the platform as of 11:30am today even though it was promised to be released on February 6th.
While the film’s trailer is available to watch on the platform, the movie is not yet available.
It’s possible that the release date has been pushed back or the platform might just be lagging in uploading the content.
