What do you want to do after graduation and why?  I am not fully set on a service selection right now but the aviation community is really appealing to me so probably pilot.  After my service, I would like to start my own business one day.

Why did you choose Navy?  My family is a military family and my dad graduated from the Naval Academy in 1991.  As a little kid I knew I wanted to go into the military and when I took reunion trips to Navy with my dad, I knew I wanted to go here.  I get to experience once in a lifetime opportunities while also being able to play football at the FBS level.

What would you tell somebody that is considering coming to Navy to play football?  I would tell them that Navy has a diverse group of people that are highly driven.  When you get here you just need to buy into the system in order to succeed.

If you could play another position, what position would you play and why?  Because I play defense, I've always wanted to run the ball.  In high school my coach let me play fullback a little but never let me run it.  I would either want to play fullback or slot back.

If you could choose any opponent for Navy to play that is currently not on the schedule who would you choose and why?  I would want us to play Iowa.  Mainly because I have a couple friends on the team their and my sister is going there for track, so being able to have the chance to play them and win would mean a lot.

Favorite class at the Naval Academy and why?  I really liked Naval History.  A lot of people don't like the class but I had a really good teacher that covered some cool topics.

Hardest class at the Naval Academy and why? Chemistry I for me was the hardest so far.  Taking it my first semester and having it online made it really difficult for me to understand what was going on.

Favorite teacher at the Naval Academy and why?  LT Anderson, who was my Naval History teacher.  He taught in a very different way that I've never experienced before and brought up topics that made me question my ideals.

Favorite form of social media and why?  Tik Tok by far.  However, I'll spend hours at a time on it so I've deleted it and then downloaded it again about 6 times already.

Favorite person to follow on social media and why?  I love following Dave Portnoy on twitter.  He gives me a good laugh and does a lot of very different things with his time.

Favorite sport to follow at the Naval Academy outside of football and why?  I wrestled in high school so I like to keep up with the wrestling team here.

If you didn't play football at Navy, what sport would you play and why?  I would most likely wrestle, but if I had the chance I would like to pole vault.  I always wanted to do it in hig school but was told I was too big.

If you had to be quarantined with four people associated with Navy Football, who would you choose and why? John Meagher, Will Harbour, Aka Kapono, and Eavan Gibbons.  This would just be a solid group of guys to spend time with in quarantine.

What song is playing on your headphones in the locker room right before taking the field?  Nocturnal Rainbows by Hospin

What is your dream vacation?  I would love to go hog hunting in Texas in a helicopter

How many teams should make the FBS Playoffs?  8

What is the best thing about being in the American Athletic Conference?  The best thing I'd say is that the conference is usually overlooked even though in recent years there have been multiple teams from the conference in the Top 25.  We get to play a lot of teams that are at at the top of FBS football.

Favorite Coach Niumatalolo quote:  People don't know how hard it is to win.

One word to describe a Navy Football player: Gritty

Who will be the surprise player on offense in 2021 and why? Daniel Jones, his quickness and cuts make him hard to tackle.

Who will be the surprise player on defense in 2021 and why? Will Harbour, he had a great spring ball and an intense work ethic.

Who is the toughest player on the Navy football team and why? Michael Salisbury, one time I went to workout and for half of my workout he did sit ups without stopping.  He did 500 sit ups.

What player epitomizes Navy Football and why?  Mychal Cooper.  Coop not only stands out on the field but he is one of the most genuine guys on the team.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on offense in 2021 and why?  Mychal Cooper, because he can catch some almost impossible balls.

Who will be the Most Valuable Player on defense in 2021 and why? Diego Fagot, his resume speaks for itself.

What was the biggest lesson you learned during COVID-19?  Make the most of the opportunities given to you.  You never know when an opportunity could be taken away.

What are you most looking forward to in 2021 now that things are back to "normal"? I am really looking forward to no masks and being able to play football with no restrictions.
